CSR & Impact Programmes

Our CSR programmes are built around clearly identified community needs and measurable outcomes. We work with corporate partners to plan, implement and monitor programmes across education, healthcare, environment, women’s livelihoods and community development.

From converting plastic waste into school furniture to improving vision, healthcare access and school infrastructure, our CSR partnerships aim to create impact that communities can see and experience.

Recycled Desks & Benches

ITC Yippee Better World | 2022–2025

Turning plastic waste into better classrooms.

What begins as discarded plastic can become something valuable for a child, a desk, a bench and a better place to learn.

As part of the ITC Yippee Better World CSR initiative, Upkriti worked on a circular approach that connected environmental action with education. Plastic waste was collected through community-driven initiatives, channelled for recycling and converted into durable school furniture.

Alongside the recycling process, students and communities were engaged through awareness campaigns and activities that encouraged responsible waste management.

The programme has created a two-fold impact: reducing plastic waste while improving classroom infrastructure for children in government schools. It demonstrates how environmental responsibility can directly contribute to better educational spaces.

Eye Health & Vision Care

Undiagnosed vision problems can affect a child's education, an adult's livelihood and an entire family's quality of life. For underserved communities, accessing regular eye care can be difficult.

School Renovation & Infrastructure

For children, a safe and functional school is the foundation for learning. Yet many government schools continue to operate with ageing infrastructure and facilities that need repair or improvement.

Women’s Skill Development & Livelihoods

Economic empowerment begins with opportunity. Upkriti's women empowerment programmes focus on giving women practical skills that can be converted into income and greater financial independence.

Gender Equality & Awareness

Gender equality begins with awareness. Our gender equality programmes create spaces for students and young people to discuss gender roles, stereotypes, equal opportunities, respect and inclusion.

Children & Student Welfare

Education is not limited to textbooks and examinations. Children also need opportunities to play, create, explore, stay healthy and develop confidence.

Health & Medical Assistance

For people living in remote areas, accessing regular healthcare can mean travelling long distances. This becomes particularly difficult for patients who require recurring treatments such as dialysis.
